I-SERVE has declared that it will take up Oriental Sciences one by one for deeper study. As a part of this plan of action, the subject of Ayurveda is given a top priority since this is a science which is needed by the common man most urgently. Added to this, this is an ancient Indian Science which is still alive in the form of practice. To have a clear understanding of the Ancient Science and to encourage inter disciplinary co-operation between the Ayurvedic Scholars and Modern Doctors, a National conference on Ayurveda under the title " Ayurvedic Medicare as Evidence Based Medicine" has been organized at Hyderabad during 16th & 17th February, 2006. The interesting research papers presented during this conference are being made available to the world readers with an intention of triggering more thoughts & experiments in similar directions for the benefit of the mankind.
