AGRICULTURE

Indian agriculture dates backs to thousands of years. The literature on this subject is said to be translated into several foreign languages at least 1000 years back itself. In pursuit of modern techniques, many of the natural techniques which are eco friendly and non hazardous have been forgotten by us in the recent years and this fact has been recognized by some agriculturists and scientists. Efforts have been put forth to retrace the forgotten tracks, but none of them have seem to realize the theory behind ancient Indian agriculture. Broadly speaking this theory looks at the plants as an integral part of the animal kingdom and treats them as beings with a series of previous births. Hence, Indian agriculture tries to treat the plant more on a psychological plane than on a physical plane. Our project on this subject is trying to correlate this aspect with the modern mechanical aspect and struggling to arrive at a happy blend of both the aspects.
